Liverpool forwards Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel are joined by Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie in a provisional 25-man party. Three former Premier League players are also included in a squad that will be finalised by Van Marwijk on August 7, ahead of the August 12 match in Amsterdam. Giovanni van Bronckhorst, formerly of Arsenal, ex-Chelsea winger Arjen Robben, and Andre Ooijer, who left Blackburn earlier this summer, are the players with past experience of playing in England. Van Bronckhorst is currently with Feyenoord, with Robben at Real Madrid and Ooijer at PSV Eindhoven. Robben’s club-mates Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart also feature, as does Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel.
